We are pleased to announce three attendance support calls for MMM 2014. Two calls are past deadline.

 

3. SFI Irish Researcher Support
The MMM 2014 organisers are pleased to announce student bursaries to cover the registration costs of Irish-based research students who have not already registered to attend MMM 2014. Closing date for applications is 13th December 2013 at 23:59 GMT.  Interested parties should email the local organising chair Rami Albatal (rami.albatal at dcu.ie) with the following details.

  • your contact details, school details and a short review of your research.
  • a one page description of why you wish to attend MMM 2014
  • a signed letter from your advisor/university clarifying that you are a registered student.

 

The below calls are past deadline and are now closed.

 

1. General Student Support.
MMM 2014 organisers are pleased to announce a limited number of student bursaries for students who wish to attend MMM 2014. This call is open to students who are either accepted authors or who just wish to attend MMM 2014. Each bursary covers the cost of student registration & in some cases, a small contribution towards the cost of travel. All student bursaries are distributed when the student registers at MMM 2014 in January. Interested parties should email the local organising chair Rami Albatal (rami.albatal at dcu.ie) with the following details.

  • your contact details, school details and registered student details.
  • a one page description of why you wish to attend.
  • a short letter of support from your supervisor stating that you are an active student with a desire to attend MMM 2014.

Closing date for applications is extended to be the 9th December 2013 at 23:59 GMT. We thank Google for the sponsorship that makes this possible.

 

2. ISCP Chinese Researcher Support.
MMM 2014 organisers are pleased to announce four bursaries for Chinese based researchers who wish to attend MMM 2014. This call is open to research students and staff who are either accepted authors or who just wish to attend MMM 2014. Each bursary is valued at €525 and will be distributed when the student registers at MMM 2014 in January. Interested parties should email the local organising chair Rami Albatal (rami.albatal at dcu.ie) with the following details.

  • your contact details, school details and a short review of your research.
  • a one page description of why you wish to attend.

Closing date for applications is extended to be the 9th December 2013 at 23:59 GMT. This call is open to both published authors at MMM 2014 and other researchers who are interested in attending. These bursaries are funded by the Science Foundation Ireland ISCP China programme, hence there will be an accompanying social event during MMM 2014 for the successful Chinese researchers who receive support under this programme.
